National Peer Tutoring Programme

At WorkWorked, we are in the process of developing a National Peer Tutoring Programme to support schools in the recovery from the impact of the COVID pandemic. As an educational intervention, peer tutoring is highlighted by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) teaching and learning toolkit as an intervention which has a positive impact on both learners and tutors.

We believe structured peer tutoring within schools will help the education system increase capacity without placing extra pressures on teachers, whilst providing numerous benefits on top of the academic attainment gains.

The purpose of this introduction is to explain how we are developing the programme and more importantly, to engage teachers and school leaders in shaping the development.

We understand you are best placed to see first hand the gaps learners may have from the impact of school closures and your feedback is crucial in helping us develop a sustainable and impactful programme of support. If you can spare 10 minutes to enrol in the introduction to find out more about our plans and more importantly, provide feedback to two short surveys your help will be appreciated.
